HomeProf DevtHTA Presenter Program

Share your expertise with colleagues

In the past two years HTANSW has run a program aimed at inducting and mentoring new presenters for our professional development and student lecture days. While a major goal has been to discover and develop new expertise from within HTA member ranks, the program also offers a unique professional learning opportunity that addresses a number of priorities highlighted by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. The program will run again during 2018-19.

  • The 2018-19 program will consist of two components:

1) An induction session (2.5 hours)

2) A mentored opportunity to prepare and present at a HTA event

  • The induction session is scheduled for 28 November, to run from 4.00 - 6.30 pm.
  • The venue for the Induction Session will be Santa Sabina College, 90 The Boulevarde Strathfield.
  • At the same time, wemaybe able to offer an online version of the induction session for rural members.
  • Those who complete the induction session will have the option of registering for the second component of the program.
  • Participation is open to HTANSW members only but places will be strictly limited.
  • The program will be endorsed at the Proficient level.
  • More details will be provided in response to expressions of interest.
