Peter
Bastian is
Associate Professor of History at the Australian Catholic
University, Mount St Mary, Sydney. He has also been a
Senior Marker of the NSW Modern History Higher School
Certificate Exam, Chair of the Modern History HSC Examination
Committee and a member of the History Extension HSC Examination
Committee. Peter is a regular contributor to Teaching
History, the journal of the History Teachers' Association
of NSW. HTA NSW has also published his concise history
of the Cold War, Bearing Any Burden: The Cold War
Years 1945-1991.
