Professional Development Day - General Details

Registration
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the listed time of the first session for registration.
As part of registration, you will need to nominate your workshop sessions on lists provided on the day.
Sessions can be booked out - so register early to avoid disappointment.

Parking Vouchers
The university operates "Pay and Display" parking. Failure to display a vaild parking voucher will risk a parking infringement fine.
During our most of Professional Development days, HTANSW has arranged $5.00 parking vouchers to be made available for you to purchase at registration, which will then need to be displayed in your car windscreen. (Refer to specific registration forms to confirm these parking details have been arranged).
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the first session if you intend to purchase a $5.00 parking voucher, as queues may be lengthy.
Pay and display vouchers purchased through the university vending machines are $18.00 flat rate in gold coins.

Catering
Our Professional Development days include full catering. That is, coffee and tea on arrival, morning tea and lunch. Attendees with special catering requirements, please contact the HTA Office and advise us of your specific needs before the day.

Evaluation
HTA NSW is always seeking to improve its support and services to teachers. To that end an evaluation sheet for the day will be provided on the back of the programme issued during registration. We truly appreciate attendees taking the time to complete the evaluation form and returning it to us as at the end of the day.

NSW INSTITUTE OF TEACHERS ACCREDITATION

HTA NSW is endorsed by the NSW Institute of Teachers to provide 'Institute Registered continuing professional development', to support the maintenance of accreditation at Professional Competence.
Our NSWIT endorsed courses carry the NSWIT logo on the program.

Teachers accredited at Professional Competence need to participate in 100 hours of professional development over five years. This 100 hours comprises 50 hours of Institute Registered continuing professional development, and 50 hours of Teacher Identified continuing professional development.
